I have two Atlas Gunworks V2s what I can tell you is this. If you're a gun enthusiast and a 2011 collector or even a competitive shooter this is the gun for you. If I had the option to get a shielded safety I would highly recommend you do. Once you get it and you definitely won't regret it. It is the most accurate and most fun to shoot 2011 I have. Just FYI I have the DVC Open and the new compensated 2011 both from Staccato and they both get overshadowed by the NYX!!!!!!! If there's a V3 and I don't know how you can get better than the current line-up I want to be the first one to own and shoot it!!!!

I own a large collection of pistols (35+) including Nighthawks, Staccatos, etc. I've been intrigued with the reviews online and the price of these pistols. Can a Atlas be worth twice as much as an Staccato?! There was only one way to find out. I purchased my first Atlas NYX and immediately after opening the case I understood that the craftsmanship was something unlike any other 2011/double stack 1911. I could not believe that an Atlas trigger could be better than a Staccato XC but I was wrong. Atlas makes me want to dispose all of my striker fired pistols. Why shoot anything else?! I am definitely expanding my collection with other Atlas models. Sure there are other great double stack 1911s out there for less money. But when you hold and/or shoot an Atlas, you know you have something "very special" in your hands.

Ordering this handgun was a bit of a hold your breath moment but Morgan made it all that much easier. Although my competition days are over, I have shot a pretty large sample of standard models. Simply put nothing I've shot compares to the Nyx. The craftsmanship and design are first rate along with being totally reliable. The ergonomics say 'shoot me'. I love shooting this gun and didn't believe that the gun made that much difference. Well it did for me as the accuracy was jaw dropping. Yup, it's a lot of money but you won't be continually thinking about what handgun you want next. This is it.

Wanted to see if my shooting experience would be better with nyx gun. I am a beginner to intermediate shooter. The recoil and feel for gun better than my other 9 mm. The accuracy’ and clumping of my shots much better. The customization of gum was easy and Morgan was very helpful. I took her recommendations and she was right. I have not had any problems with over 500 rounds. This gun can be competition and but I have more confidence with defensive shooting. Very happy with red dot

Worth the cost and recommend if price is no option this gun is the best.
