All New Classic 2011 Magazines
Atlas Gunworks is happy to announce the arrival of our new classic magazines! This is our economical predecessor of the proven Atlas premium magazines. We carried over the core components that have made them one of the most popular magazines for 2011 and 1911 DS handguns in recent years.
Atlas Classic Magazines Features
Our classic magazines are high-quality, extremely durable, and perform great with most 2011 and 1911 double stack handguns. They feature the same feeding capabilities and core components as our premium 2011 magazines but have a few subtle differences.
In regards to the features of classic 2011 magazines, here's what you can expect:
Classic black aluminum base pads (All base pads include a retaining plate)
Stainless steel tubes to prevent rust and discoloration
Available in 17 rounds (126mm) and 20 rounds (140mm)
Both compatible with 9mm handguns
Specifically designed to prevent over-inserting the magazine and making contact with the ejector
Compatible with tactical magwells and smaller (not with large competition-style magwells)
Differences between Premium & Classic Magazines
As stated above, the classic and premium magazines use the same tubes, springs, and followers. The difference in performance is negligible, but there are a few key differences between these models enabling the classic magazines to be the best bang for your buck in terms of performance for every dollar spent.
