In this Range Report video, I get the chance to shoot and review the Atlas Gunworks Hades. It is a limited-edition 2011 platform pistol from Atlas Gunworks, a Vermont-based company known for high-end custom 2011/1911 pistols built for competition and serious collectors. It represents one of the newest designs from Atlas and is significant because it’s reportedly the last release on Atlas’s older “V2” platform, marking the end of that era before new V3 pistols fully take over. It is meant to be a high-performance, ported, and compensated pistol — essentially aiming at flat shooting, fast follow-ups, and top-tier handling. How does this pistol shoot?
