Atlas Gunworks has been one of our favorite pistol manufacturers for a long time now, so we had to check out their booth at SHOT Show 2026.
In this Range Report video, I get the chance to shoot and review the Atlas Gunworks Hades. It is a limited-edition 2011 platform pistol from Atlas Gunworks, a Vermont-based company known for high-end custom 2011/1911 pistols built for competition and serious collectors. It represents one of the newest designs from Atlas and is significant because it’s reportedly the last release on Atlas’s older “V2” platform, marking the end of that era before new V3 pistols fully take over. It is meant to be a high-performance, ported, and compensated pistol — essentially aiming at flat shooting, fast follow-ups, and top-tier handling. How does this pistol shoot? Does it achieve its goals to be something different and to set itself apart? This video documents my personal thoughts, opinions and experiences with this firearm. Yours may vary.
In this Firearms Unboxing video, I take a look at the Atlas Gunworks Hades. This was cool enough to just unbox before making any other content with it. I just love it when a pistol has a great presentation to go along with it.
Project Alias is the result of two top-tier manufacturers, Agency Arms and Atlas Gun Works, coming together with one purpose: to create the ultimate 2011 pistol. Built from premium materials and executed with uncompromising precision, each Project Alias pistol is hand fit and assembled start-to-finish by a single master gunsmith, ensuring exceptional consistency, performance, and attention to detail. The result is an elevated 2011 that delivers elite accuracy, reliability, and refinement — a true heirloom-grade firearm your kids will be sure to fight over. Project Alias. Precision. Craftsmanship. Legacy.
